Take off to the future
Three companies – one strong brand

In June 2005 Böhler-Uddeholm AG took over Edelstahlwerke Buderus AG from Bosch. Since then different actions have been undertaken to integrate Buderus Edelstahl in the Böhler-Uddeholm divisions "High Performance Metals", "Precision Strip" and "Special Forgings". The Buderus Edelstahl companies will be separately managed in the three divisions of Böhler-Uddeholm AG. So it is possible to act more focussed on the worldwide market.

Setting the course for the future

In the future the strong brand of Buderus Edelstahl will be accompanied by three companies on the  worldwide market - Buderus Edelstahl GmbH, Buderus Edelstahl Band GmbH and Buderus Edelstahl Schmiedetechnik GmbH. Associated in the Buderus Edelstahl brand family the entire production process remains in-house at the common production place at Wetzlar - from melting through to the end product. This capability is a major factor in our success in the marketplace. Customer needs can be fulfilled optimal, flexible and quick due to a high level of performance, speed and flexibility in our order processing.

The appearance of Buderus Edelstahl is changing. The objectives remain the same. Also in the future we stand for innovative strip steels of highest quality, stat-of-the-art technologies and highest flexibility.
